IBRG Coordinator Prof. Christian E. Vincenot was awarded on April 14th 2021 the Minister's Commendation for Young Scientists (文部科学省「令和3年度科学技術分野の文部科学大臣表彰」). This most prestigious decoration was presented by Minister Kōichi Hagiuda, head of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and rewards Christian's achievements in ecological research over the last years.
