About the event

The University of Turku hosted this year the 15th edition of the European Bat Research Symposium (EBRS2021). The IBRG was kindly invited to take part in the organization by having Christian join the Scientific Committee. Furthermore, the conference hosted one talk by Jason on bat research and conservation efforts in Japan (see our Mammal Review paper on this topic) and one talk by Christian on ecological importance and conservation threats faced by the Ryukyu flying fox. One poster on our automated passive acoustic monitoring pipeline for flying foxes was also presented by Arthur and Clément.

Please get in touch with us if you wish to hear more about all this!
